Just saw the tony awards today, had a nice surprise. Missed the first half and hour TWICE on star world...damn...cursing and swearing at myself for that. But anyway, for the most part it was pretty boring since most (well almost all) the musicals and plays and whatnot i've NEVER heard of since it's mostly from NY's best...im pretty bummed out that i don't get to see those musicals/plays...seems really nice and a pretty happening place.

What's worse is not being able to catch "the boy from oz" by hugh jackman. Aww man, what i'd do to get a place for that performance!! He was the highlight of the show for me actually. I was really pleased that they let him perform one of his numbers at the awards, though the mike fell off and he had to spend half the time putting it back which disrupted his performance...damn...after that he let slip a little that it was a recording that he was singing over i think...not too sure about that myself, but he was REALLY funny!! lol...i didn't think he'd portray a gay man so well...all that shakin' and flamboyance!! woo...fantastic...i bet the show was hilarious....sigh...

there was another performance called avenue Q...with muppets and all though it isn't a kiddie musical...F words were said, so u can imagine the laughter...*hums faintly it sucks to be me...* (it's the song they performed fyi...kinda funny too) they eventually won best musical or smth.

Hugh won best actor, so WOO to that...he's really good at what he does, though i'm shocked at how old his wife looked....she looked 20 years older than he was...goodness...he deserves better...LOL....me and my evilness again...

anyway, the performances and stuff were good, though almost all the awards they gave out i dunno the nominess and winners...so i only enjoyed the performances....its just one of those times i wish i could just fly to NY to catch all the performances available...really seems like a happening place....sigh...I WANNA SEE THE BOY FROM OZ!!! gahhh...i didn't know hugh could SING...damn...i figured wolverine + singing = HUH??? so i didn't believe my friend when she said he's really good on stage...until NOW...oh mannn...i wish i had as good a voice like that...oh well...

is it me or am i becoming a broadway freak....scary.

Then again, it could be a good thing...heh. Im indecisive as u can see...wahahahaha.
